The Artist
➳♡
Our Artist Khaled is from Sfax,Tunisia and was given the gift of drawing since childhood. He is very artistic in several other mediums as well, but always returns to fine art, drawing and tattooing.
Artist Kal's connection to tattooing runs deep, rooted in his Tunisian heritage and the rich traditions of the Amazigh people of North Africa.
Growing up, he was surrounded by the visual testament of this heritage, most notably through the face tattoos worn by his grandmother and other women of her generation.
These markings, a powerful symbol of cultural identity and a rite of passage, left an indelible impression on him.
This intimate exposure to the art form, not as a modern trend but as an ancient cultural practice, ignited a lifelong fascination.
The stories etched into the skin of his elders became his first lessons, sparking a desire to explore and continue the art of tattooing, carrying forward the legacy of his Amazigh ancestors into his own artistic expression.
This foundation, combined with his years of practice, has given him a unique understanding of skin.
Working with a diverse clientele, he has learned to navigate the nuances of various skin types, from delicate and sensitive to resilient and textured.
This hands-on experience has honed his ability to adapt his technique and approach, ensuring optimal results and minimizing potential complications, making him exceptionally knowledgeable about the canvas he works on.
After moving to the states in 2014, he became a US citizen. He had been gathering ideas and drawing until they were able to open the studio of their dreams in December of 2021. Hard work does pay off!
He specializes in Realism, Black & Gray , Fine Line and Cover Up.
He can do any style of Tattooing, but those styles are his first loves.
If you are indecisive of what you want your tattoo to be, he can help you decide whats best for you and where to place it. Or he will take your idea and bring it to life! He can hand draw your vision and provide the drawings upon request.

Most Amazigh woman, grandmother pictured here, adorned facial tattoos as a right of passage, in her generation.
Identity and Belonging: Tattoos were a way to visually represent a person's identity, tribal affiliation, and place within the community.
Milestones and Life Events: They marked significant life events like marriage, childbirth, and loss of virginity, serving as a permanent record of a woman's life.
Protection and Healing: Some designs were believed to protect against evil spirits or promote healing.
Fertility: Certain tattoos on the hands, body, neck, and abdomen area symbolized fertility.
Beautification: Tattoos were also seen as a form of beauty and adornment.

Our Aftercare Instructions ➳♡
Aftercare will affect the quality of your new tattoo and it is the MOST important step!
Please keep tattoo area clean to avoid any infection. Wear loose fitting clothing.
Procedure Type: Tattoo
Approximate Healing Time: Two to four (2-4) weeks
Supplies: Fragrance Free and Dye Free, mild skin lotion
Please wash hands well before starting any aftercare!
Aftercare Instructions (without Saniderm): Keep your new tattoo bandaged for approximately two (2) hours. Then carefully remove bandage and wash entire area with mild soap and cool water. Dry the area, and re-apply a mild skin lotion. Use only a very thin coating and continue to re-apply it two-four (2-4) times daily for at least three (3) days. Do not re-bandage the tattoo, as it could stick to the bandage and damage can occur.
With Saniderm: Keep Saniderm bandage on for 24 hours – up to three days. It is fine if there is some plasma or blood buildup, but if it becomes loose, saggy, peeled up or damaged, remove and discard. If it is too hard to peel off, removed under warm water or in shower.
After you remove bandage, clean with antibacterial soap and dry gently, and apply Fragrance Free and Dye Free, mild skin lotion. Repeat 2 times daily at least 3 days. Do not reapply the Saniderm.
Additional Considerations: Avoid sunburn, salt or chlorine water, or hot tubs until your tattoo is completely healed. In the event mild scabbing occurs, do not pick at or attempt to “wash off” the scab. Allow it to do so by itself.
Apply a mild skin lotion (FREE of dyes and smells) to keep “flaking” to a minimum.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact:
Temptation Tattoo at 586-344-1134.
In addition, you should seek medical attention if the tattoo site becomes infected or painful, or if you develop a fever shortly after being tattooed.
ENJOY YOUR CREATION ~ its a lifetime commitment!
